Macquarie Towns Rally 2019

We had a wonderful day at the Macquarie Towns Rally on the last weekend in July.

This is always a terrific event with approximately 200 classic bikes this year. There was a great group of club members who attended.

Those who I remember – Peter S (Commando 850); Joe V (Commando750); Richard T (Commando 850); Tom A (Dommi 500); Ben W (Laverda 750); Brett R (Guzzi T3); Phil P ( Guzzi T3); Bruce H ( Mod Triumph); Robert B ( Yamaha); Mark C ( Yamaha); Kevin F (BMW); David T ( Bimota 1100).

The organisation of the event was first class as usual. The rides before Morning tea and lunch were very pleasant. Morning tea was provided at the Ebenezer Church – I’ve never seen so many plates of scones with jam etc!

For those members who have not attended this event – I suggest you give it a try next year. There was lots of British bikes including many Nortons. There was a very nice 1988 water cooled Rotary.
